Load Shedding Programme
As the state's major consumer is in the domestic
sector, there is an acute shortage of power during the
evening peak load hours. This has necessitated the
department to resort to wide spread load shedding
through out the state round the year.
The Load Shedding programme currently in force in the
state with effect from 1st December, 2003 is as
follows :
