Rural Electrification

Village Electrification Works     :

There were 2183 villages in the state as per 1991 Census. The number of electrified villages by the end of 2001-02 is 2001. During 2002-03, 6 virgin villages were electrified and 8 Nos. of electrified villages were intensified. The District-wise achievement is as tabulated below.
