New & Ongoing Transmission works
132 KV Lines and Sub-Station for
Rengpang & Jiribam 132 KV S/S :
During 2002-03, work for 132/33 KV,
1x20 MVA sub-station at Jiribam was in progress. Work
order for construction of 132/33 KV, 2x20 MVA sub-
station at Kongba on turn-key basis was placed. Tender
for construction of 132/33 KV, 1x20 MVA sub-station at
Rengpang on turn-key basis was floated.
New & Ongoing Sub-Transmission works
33 KV Lines and Sub-Stations at
various locations :
During 2002-03, the department completed
the 33/11 KV, 1x1 MVA sub-station at Kamjong with
associated transmission line from the State Plan fund.
Due to paucity of State Plan fund, new sub-transmission
works could not be taken up from the State Plan fund.
All the new sub-transmission projects were taken up
under the Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources
(NLCPR).
The schemes taken up under NLCPR and the progress
achieved during the year 2002-03 are as given below.
- Construction of 33/11 KV S/S at Moreh :
Procurement of sub-station and line materials and civil
construction works were in progress. Erection of poles
for 22 Km and stringing of line for 15 Km were
completed.
- Construction of 33/11 KV S/S at Saikul :
Procurement of sub-station and line materials and civil
construction works were in progress. Erection of 561
poles was completed.
- Construction of 33/11 KV S/S at Sivapurikhan :
Procurement action for sub-station and line materials
was started.
- Construction of 33 KV D/C line from Yurembam to
Mongsangei :
6.575 Km of line was erected.
- Construction of 33 KV D/C line from Leimakhong to
Iroisemba :
Tender opened and submitted to the State Government
for finalisation.
- Tender for construction of 33/11 KV S/S on turn-key basis
at Tamei, Tousem, Maram, None and Singhat were floated.
