New & on-going transmission works

A)  Transmission System (Under State Plan):

  i)   Construction of 132/33 KV Sub-station at Jiribam.  

 ii)  Construction of  132 KV LILO line at Jiribam.  

iii)    Installation of 132 KV Line Bay Equipment for 132 KV line from Yurembam to Yaingangpokpi.  

iv) Installation of 132 KV line bay equipment at Ningthoukhong and  Churachandpur 132/33 KV Sub-Station.

v)   Re-stringing of 132 KV line from Leimatak to Jiribam line.

  
b) Works under progress:-    

 i)   Construction of 132/33 KV Sub-station at Jiribam.

  ii)  Construction of  132 KV LILO line at Jiribam.  

iii)  Installation of 132KV Line Bay Equipment for 132 KV line from Yurembam  to  Yaingangpokpi.  

iv)    Installation of 132 KV line bay equipment at Ningthoukhong and Churachandpur 132/33 KV Sub-Station.  

v)   Re-stringing of 132 KV line from Leimatak to Jiribam line.  

B) Transmission System (Under NEC):   

a) Works in progress:- 

     i) Erection of Loping in and Looping out 132 KV line at Kongba  

    ii) Construction of 2X20 MVA, 132/33 KV sub-station at Kongba. ( 98% completed)

 C) Transmission System (Under SPA):   ( Works in progress)

 i)  Renovation and Modernisation work of 132/33 KV Sub-Station at Yurembam  from 3x20MVA to 3x31.5MVA is in progress.

  ii) Construction of 132 KV line from Yurembam to Yaingangpokpi on turn key basis.         

   iii) Work order for construction of 132 KV Single Circuit Transmission line from Yaingangpokpi to Hundung (Ukhrul)  on turn key basis. 

   iv)  Construction of 2x12.5 MVA, 132/33 KV sub-station at Hundung (Ukhrul) with

         associated line bay (at Yaingangpokpi) and civil works on turn key basis

   v) Short closed APDRP System improvement works in Greater Imphal with two nos. of  33/11 KV Sub stations at Sangaipat ( 2x10 MVA) and Sangaiprou ( 2x 10 MVA) is in progress.

  D) Transmission System (Under NLCPR): 

Works under progress:-

i) Construction of 2X12.5MVA, 132/33 KV S/S at Chandel with associated 132KV Line on turn-key basis is in progress.

 Sub-Transmission

 The achievements during 2010-11 (as on 31-12-2010 )  are as given below.  

Sub-Transmission (Under State Plan):

 Works in progress:-  

i)   Restringing  & Strengthening of 33KV Line from NILAKUTHI  to KANGPOKPI via LEIMAKHONG ( on turn key basis)

 ii)  Restringing  & Strengthening of 33KV Line from

          a) YUREMBAM  to MAYANG IMPHAL and

          b) KAKCHING to MAYANG IMPHAL  ( on turn key basis)

 iii)  Re-stringing of 33KV Line from YAINGANGPOKPI  to HUNDUNG . ( on turn key basis)

 iv)  Re-stringing of 33KV Lines from KAKCHING to NEW CHAYANG and MOIRANG to MOIRANG KHUNOU  ( on turn key basis)

 Sub-Transmission System:

33 KV Lines and Sub-Stations at various locations taken up under NLCPR:

Due to paucity of State Plan fund, new sub-transmission works could not be taken up from the State Plan fund. All the new sub-transmission projects were taken up under the Non-Lapsable Central Pool of Resources (NLCPR).

The schemes taken up under NLCPR and the progress achieved during the year 2010-11 are as given below.

 i)   Construction of 2x 1MVA, 33/11KV Sub-Station at  TAMEI (completed & yet to be commissioned)  

ii)  Erection of 33 KV Double Circuit line from Leimakhong to Iroisemba on turn- key basis.

 iii) Erection of 33 KV Double Circuit line from Mongsangei to Khuman-Lampak via Kongba on turn-key basis.  

iii) Construction of 33/11 KV Sub-stations at Tousem & Thanlon erection of the associated 33 KV lines.  

iv) Construction of 2 X2.5 MVA S/S at Willong along with the associated 33KV line and related civil works on turn-key basis.

v) Construction of 2 X3.15 MVA S/S at  Sagolmang along with the associated 33KV line and related civil works on turn-key basis.

vi) Construction of 2 X5 MVA S/S at Ukhrul Khunjao along with the associated 33KV line and  related civil works on turn-key basis.

vii) Construction of 2 X1 MVA S/S at Chakpi Karong along with the associated 33KV line and  related civil works on turn-key basis.  

viii) Construction of 2 X5 MVA S/S at Sekmaijin along with the associated 33KV line and related civil works on turn-key basis.  

ix)  Construction of 2 X1 MVA S/S at Henglep along with the associated 33KV line and related civil works on turn-key basis.
